Live Sent Sunday

  • We’re getting excited for Live Sent Sunday!
  • Following the 10:45 service, we’ll have a simple lunch prepared, group into ministry teams and go out to serve our community in Jesus’ Name!
  • We are asking everyone planning to go out please RSVP!
  • The RSVP form will allow you to register your whole family for lunch and for a serve project (listed below).

___SERVE PROJECTS

  • Project Info: We are working with OB schools to line up some projects inside and out that will include light cleaning, writing cards for teachers + staff, and simple fixes. More details to come…
  • Total # of People: Unlimited
  • Led by: Various People

  • Project Info: Leading a fun game of Bingo while also sharing Jesus’ love with those living at Culpepper Place Assisted Living Facility near Target.
  • Total # of People: Up to 10
  • Led by: Charlie Shafer

  • Project Info: Make and bake cookies, praying over our first responders, writing encouraging notes, and delivering the cookies to fire stations, nurses, and police.
  • Total # of People: Up to 15

  • Project Info: 3 groups of up to 3 people each will go to Walmart, Target, & Kroger with gift cards to give away. You can also offer to take people’s carts in the parking lot while having an opportunity to pray over and share the good news of the gospel to those you come in contact with.
  • Total # of People: Up to 9

  • Project Info: Make your way through the OB City Park with free water bottles, info about the church, and opportunities to pray over the people you meet while sharing the good news of the gospel! We could also use some people who like to face paint. It would be a great addition and gives time for others to have conversations with parents as the painting is going on.
  • Total # of People: Up to 8

  • Project Info: Write notes of encouragement and praying over city officials, Old Towne businesses, etc.
  • Times: This one will have two times to serve: 1—during the 10:45 service (if you are an early service attender) / 2—after lunch
  • Meeting Place: FLC Conference Room
  • Total # of People: Up to 30

  • Project Info: We have worked with the City of OB to identify a few homes that need some yard work done to bring them back into right specifications with Code Enforcement. We will have team leaders, but will need workers to help mow, weedeat and possibly rake these lawns.
  • Total # of People: Up to 24
  • Led by: Various People

  • Project Info: If your Connect Group or Family want to get together to do your own project, you are more than welcome to do so. Please let us know you are doing it so we can come alongside and help in any way possible. You can still choose to eat lunch at the church and then go out as a connect group/family.
