5 Ways to Engage in God’s Story
1. Engage Personally
We would love for as many people as possible commit to reading through the bible chronologically in your daily devotional time. We have provided a daily reading plan in the resources below as well as along with a monthly memory verse. We encourage you to practice the H.E.A.R. Journal Method as a way to provide consistency and direction for your bible reading:
HIGHLIGHT: Highlight a verse(s) in the daily reading as focal texts.
EXPLAIN: Explain the highlighted verses by writing about the meaning and purpose of the verses.
APPLY: Write out the application of the highlighted text. What does the Scriptures instruct you do do with the truths you have read?
RESPOND: Consider an appropriate response to the text. This might be a prayer or an action point to begin practicing.
2. Engage in Connect Group
Each Sunday at 9:15am, our Connect Groups gather for a time of meaningful connection around the word, sharing life with one another. We provide connect groups for all ages from pre-school to senior adults and every age in between. You’ll find our groups to be friendly, focused, and centered on the Bible and how it is to be practically applied to your everyday life. In 2024, each connect group will be using a curriculum that follows the chronological timeline in Scripture.
3. Engage in Sunday Worship
Each Sunday at our 8:00am and 10:45am worship services, Pastor Jerrod will preach a message from the previous week’s daily bible reading plan.
4. Engage in Midweek
In addition to the Midweek meal and age-graded ministry gatherings for preschool, kids, and students on Wednesday nights; adults will gather at 6:15pm for a unique study through the 14 eras of Scripture. This study will provide an additional layer of equipping and understanding as we read the bible together chronologically.

5. Engage in Dgroups
These are gender-exclusive groups of 3-5 people who meet weekly for for the purpose of spiritual growth: reading God’s Word, journaling God’s Word, memorizing God’s Word, holding each other accountable, praying for one another, and committing to replicate with others. Dgroups provide a way to multiply disciples for the Glory of God and the Mission of God.

Chronological Bible Teaching
Chronological Bible Teaching Ministries grew out of a passion to mature believers using the Bible, rather than books about the Bible, as the primary tool.
CBT impacts churches and groups around the world; materials have been translated into three different languages, and thousands have gained greater insight into the scripture by understanding the story framework of God’s Word.
