___COST
  • $46 per camper (kids and adults) – includes meals, registration, events, and travel
  • PLUS Sleeping arrangements (choose from one of the following):
    • $24 for tent camping
    • $52 for a cabin
___REGISTRATION DEADLINE + INSTRUCTIONS
  • Please be completely paid up and registered by Wednesday, October 2, 2024
  • Camporee is for all RAs (1st-5th grade). We are also willing to accept 6th-8th graders that want to come.
  • ALL kids MUST come with a parent/guardian that will be responsible for them all weekend long.
  • Be sure to include the names of ALL participants in the provided box on the payment page (kids & adults)
  • CHILD REGISTRATION:
    • You must register each child separately
    • Select the “Participant” option under the “I am” question.
    • Make sure to select “Next Document” after filling out the first page; there are two pages total.
  • ADULT REGISTRATION:
    • You must register each adult separately
    • Select the “Adult Sponsor” option under the ”I am” question (its third on the first form, but second on the second form).
    • Make sure to select “Next Document” after filling out the first page; there are two pages total.

___WHAT TO EXPECT
  • Your RA can expect to participate in tent camping, fire building, team obstacle course, archery, paintball shooting range, tomahawk throw, pellet guns, log pull, knot tying, compass course, construction projects, missions hall, special speaker, worship band, campfires, hiking, and other fun activities!
  • We will be taking RA Racers cars to camp. If you do not have a car or want to make a new one, let me know.  Otherwise, use your car from the race this past summer. If I have your car, also let me know so we can get them race ready!
___SUGGESTED ITEMS TO BRING

FOOD

    • money for Friday evening meal (usually Chick-fil-a) and Sunday lunch (usually Zaxby’s)
    • money for gift shop/snack shack (personal snacks, drinks, treats)

GEAR

    • Tent:
      • Ground cloth (optional but recommended)
      • Be sure to check all rain flys, poles, and stakes
    • Sleeping bag/blankets: it may drop below freezing in the valley at night
    • Pillow
    • Air mattress or sleeping pad

CLOTHING

    • Boots or good shoes: LOTS of walking
    • Saturday, Sunday, extras
    • plan to wear layers, hat, gloves. the temperature changes greatly from night to day
    • rain gear: umbrella or poncho

OTHER

    • Camp chair(s)
    • Flashlight/Lantern: we will be out at night
    • Water bottle
    • Shower needs: towel, shoes, shampoo, soap, etc.
    • Personal care: toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.
    • Sunscreen, bug spray, etc. as needed
    • Daypack to carry during events
    • Bible, notebook, pen/pencil
    • Balls, Frisbee, other games for free time at campsite
    • There are spots to fish.
    • Devices for travel (will be collected during camp and returned on the ride home)
