- Placed in a museum-like setting with seven exhibits, In Remembrance is a multi-sensory walk-through experience to reflect on the seven central items involved in Christ’s sacrifice.
- You will enter the Place of Agony and picture Jesus kneeling beside an olive tree, where Jesus prayed, His sweat falling like drops of blood from the physical agony and anguish He endured.
- You will experience the empty weight of the 30 pieces of silver that Judas charged to betray Christ.
- You will see the brutality of the cat-of-nine-tails whip that was used on Christ.
- You will feel the long, sharp thorns from the crown that was placed on Christ’s head.
- You will hold the dice that were used to cast lots for Christ’s robe.
- You will feel the cold metal of the nails that held Christ to the cross.
- You will see the cross and feel its splintered wood.
- You are welcome to spend time at each exhibit contemplating what each item means to Christ and what they mean for you.
