Basketball League

___IMPORTANT DATES + INFO

• REGISTRATION
  • Registration opens Tuesday, September 1, 2026 @ 6:00pm and closes Monday, October 12, 2026
  • Cost: $75 per player

• PLAYER EVALUATIONS

  • Each player is required to be evaluated so that we can better balance our league.

  • The two evaluation dates are Saturday, October 24th and Saturday, October 31st. You may choose your evaluation date for each player during registration.

  • If you are waitlisted, you will only be evaluated if a spot opens up and we contact you.

  • ⚠️ Your registration fee will be refunded if you are unable to attend one of the two evaluations.

    • 9am – 5/6 year olds
    • 11am – 7/8 year olds
    • 1pm – 9/10 year olds
    • 3pm – 11/12 year olds
  • Please show up promptly at the designated evaluation time for your child’s age division.

  • Evaluations will take place in the FLC Gym (hardwood floor).

• PRACTICE
  • Practices will begin the week of November 9-13, 2026.
  • Each practice will take place in either the FLC gym (wood floor) or Kids Building gym (concrete floor).
  • Your coach will be in contact sometime the week prior to the first practice.

• LEAGUE PLAY
  • January 9 – February 27, 2027
  • All games will be played between 8a and 3p on Saturdays in the FLC Gym)
  • A schedule will be sent out as soon as possible in November and posted below.
• AWARDS NIGHT
  • End of season Awards will take place in the Worship Center @ FBCOB on Sunday, February 28th.
  • The awards will begin at 5pm.
  • Please have your player dress in their jersey and show up 10-15 minutes early to line up with their team and coach.

___AGES

• 5 – 12 years old (as of January 9, 2027)
• There are 4 age divisions (5-6yrs, 7-8yrs, 9-10yrs, 11-12yrs)
• All teams will include boys and girls.

___LOCATIONS

• First Baptist Church Olive Branch, 9155 Highland Street, Olive Branch, MS 38654 << click for directions
• All games will be held in the FLC gym (easiest access is from the back of the church – Pigeon Roost Rd.)
• Practices will be held in BOTH the FLC Gym (enter from the small parking lot at Highland & Pigeon Roost OR up the walkway between building from the large parking lot) and the Kids Building Gym (enter under the drive-thru pavilion from the large parking lot, turn left and head upstairs)
