| Preschool Ministry
It's time for us to collect for Samaritians' Purse. Information is available in the Welcome Center and in individual Sunday School classes. Please drop off filled boxes with paid postage to the preschool building during the month of November. We will deliver the boxes on November 18th.
Our annual Thanksgiving Feast is Sunday, November 18. Come dressed like a pilgrim or an Indian. We will have a Thanksgiving Feast during the 9:00 hour. Also, during the 10:15 hour we will take our Thanksgiving offering over to the Worship Center.
Children's Ministry
Church without Doors: Thanksgiving weekend meal: Please cook, slice and bring a turkey to church on Sunday, November 25. We need 30 turkeys so if you can help call Keith at 895-5481 and sign up. We'll take them to the Church without Doors at 11:30 am. We'll be back around 2:30 pm. Come downtown with us and feed 250 - 300 people. This will be possibly the only meal they will have all day. No experience necessary just come and serve!
Student Ministry
Search for Fulltime Associate Pastor to Students - Dr. Stewart and the Personnel Committee are busy praying and searching for the right fulltime Associate Pastor to Students. Join them in praying that God will lead our church to the right person soon. God has blessed our Student Ministry with a passionate, creative and effective leadership team during the interim and we thank them all for their time and ministry.
Truth Is, Wednesday nights at 5pm in the Youth Room. Dinner served at 5:00pm and youth worship begins at 6pm. Great singing, challenging topics, and encouraging words!
Student Worship led by Ashley & Adam Fisher in the Youth Room at 5pm on Sundays.
Life 18/29 College / Young Singles Ministry
Friday, November 2nd, "Fifth Quarter" for FBCOB Youth!! 8:30-11:30pm Life 18/29 invites all youth to come and enjoy a night of food, fun, and fellowship in the FLC. This event is FREE and we encourage you to bring a friend!! For more information contact Charlie in the church office.
Friday, November 30th, Life 18/29 will have their monthly fellowship...Movie at the "Big House".
Recreation Ministry
Basketball & Cheerleading registration continues through November 15th. Cost is $40 for basketball and $30 for cheerleading.
Senior Single Adult Ministry
Potluck on Tuesday, November 6th at 7pm in the FLC/DH. Come with Thanksgiving.
Breakfast at Old Style BBQ on Saturday, November 17th at 8:30am

Branson trip, October 29-November 1!
The Associational Meeting for this month will be combined with the Annual meeting. (October 16th).
Music Ministry
Bonus Rehearsal for "There is Peace in the World Tonight", November 6, 6:30 p.m.
The Music Ministry will help light the city Christmas tree on November 29 at 7:00 p.m.
The mixed trio will be singing at our next Church without Doors on November 25.

Education Ministry
Just Walk Across the Room - An exciting four week study of evangelism is being taught in eight adult Sunday school classes beginning November 4th. The eight include Lee Baker (Emmie Taylor's class), Allen Taylor, Allen Sims, Greg Williams, Dicky Gentry, Carey Freeze, Daniel Clark and Kelly Powell.
Maximum Outreach - Sunday and Wednesday evenings, potential member information is organized on tables at the Welcome Center for Sunday School Outreach Leaders and church members to sign out and contact. Please return the completed outreach cards to the table by the following Sunday or Wednesday. |
